My Best Friend is Getting Married

My best friend is getting married! Tracy and I {through our 16 years of friendship} have celebrated the many joys and sorrows of life.

Getting “older” means more daily responsibilities, which keeps our lives so busy that we do not get many chances to “celebrate” our friendship these days. However…for the last 6 months we have been celebrating the engagement and upcoming wedding. The phone conversations have changed to talk of colors, flowers, food, decorations, and attire for the “big day.”

Tracy and Heath…Congratulations! I wish you a future of love and happiness.

Gimpy

When Josh and I purchased our home six years ago we received "Gift with purchase." This gift was a cat.

I did not know his story, I did not know how old he was or where he came from--I just knew that he was in poor shape! We named him due to his limp--"Gimpy."

Even though Gimpy walked with a limp, had seizures and poor equilibrium--he lived a happy life.

This ugly, beat up, worn cat chose us. And we chose to love him.

Gimpy...I will miss you!

Jessica graduated last Friday from Liberty High School. I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Jessica, mom and Jessica's niece.
