Trinity Valley Exposition Stick Horse Competition
Anyone who is interested in participating in the 2009 TVE Stick Horse Competition can pick up their stick horse at the TVE fairgrounds or Adair's & Company in the Liberty town squre.
Contestants must be at least three years of age and no older than six. Participation is free.

Christmas will be here before we know it. 12 weekends to be exact. It is NOT TOO EARLY to start planning for your holiday cards.
Prints make excellent Christmas presents for grandparents & parents.
DEADLINES
To purchase negatives to print your own portraits for Christmas Cards ~ Saturday, November 28th.
To purchase prints to use as Christmas Cards ~ Saturday, November 28th.
To purchase prints as gifts for Christmas ~ Wednesday, December 10th.

Jessica
A couple of weeks before I left for the Amy Wenzel workshop I received an email explaining specifics of what we needed to bring. The very first thing on the list: Your camera and favorite lenses (preferably a fast lens that opens to 1.8--at least)!
Oh my. I did not have/own a lens that opened to a 1.8. I have my 50 1.4...but that was it. What was I to do? I elected to purchase the Nikon 85mm 1.4. (Believe me, it was not easy as the last sentence sounded.)
I received the lens a couple of days before the workshop. I needed to practice.
While getting a pedicure, in walks one of my senior clients from last year. She {Jessica} sits down beside me. At the end of the pedicure, I had the perfect model.
Jessica, you are fantastic, beautiful & so sweet. Thank you! I owe you.
The 85 has taken time to get used to. A fixed lens sure makes you work. But when you get that perfect shot....it is dreamy!
Update (3 months later...the 85 1.4 is my favorite lens. Great fast/low light lens!)

Paschal Family
Moms stress out when it comes to organizing family portraits. Finding the "right" outfit, scheduling, etc.
Sherry, like all moms wanted everything to go as planned. However, sometimes life happens. Little Cane was running high fever and was not the happiest little camper.
